Operator details, monitored contacts, and production arrangements still require confirmation. The clauses below distinguish the current browser sample from proposed paid services.
The current sample experience, your responsibilities, and the proposed conditions for a future paid document service.
01Status and scope
These draft terms explain use of the SheetSnapshot website and its browser sample. They also identify proposed conditions that must be finalized before paid accounts and hosted extraction become available. SheetSnapshot’s legal operator, registered contact details, and applicable commercial jurisdiction are still to be confirmed.
The current release provides local image preview, editable example cells, and sample spreadsheet downloads. Authentication, hosted OCR, and subscription fulfillment are not connected. Visiting this website, selecting a file, or returning to a checkout result page does not create a paid entitlement or confirm a successful payment.
02Eligibility and authority
The service is intended for adults. A production account holder must be at least 18 and able to enter a valid contract under the law that applies. If acting for an organization, you must have authority to authorize its use and provide its documents.
You must have a lawful basis or other required permission to handle personal information in a source document. An invoice belonging to your business may still contain information about someone else. Do not assume that possession of a file alone grants unrestricted processing rights.
03What the sample can and cannot do
Choosing a JPG or PNG up to 20 MB changes the local preview. It does not convert that file into the sample grid. The authored sample invoice and the provided spreadsheet values demonstrate the workflow. PDF upload, live extraction, batch processing, API access, and other roadmap features are unavailable unless expressly enabled and documented.
Editing a cell changes the exported sample value. Accepting a review marker does not verify factual accuracy or recalculate every dependent total. The browser workspace state resets on refresh. Keep any export you need before leaving the page. Animated counters and example queues are sample states, not processing benchmarks or a service-level guarantee.
04Accounts and access
When real accounts become available, provide accurate registration information, protect credentials, and notify the operator of suspected unauthorized use through a monitored support channel. Do not share another person’s access without authorization. Organization permissions must be explained before collaborative access is offered.
Current login, password, and signup screens are demonstrations. Do not reuse a real password in them. Hosting-level access to this site is separate from a SheetSnapshot product account, and these terms do not override the hosting platform’s access rules.
05Document rights and processing permission
You retain ownership of documents and values you provide. For a future extraction request, you would authorize only the hosting, temporary processing, and display reasonably needed to carry out that request and operate the agreed service. That permission does not transfer ownership or authorize public publication of your source files.
Any optional use of documents for model training must be separately explained and implemented consistently with the Privacy Policy. A limited service permission is not a broad license to train on customer documents. The current frontend sends no local preview to a training provider.
06Review, accuracy, and reliance
Always compare a result with its source before using it. In particular, check signs, decimal separators, currencies, quantities, identifiers, VAT, bank details, dates, and totals. Poor lighting, merged cells, handwriting, or a cropped heading can make interpretation difficult. No universal accuracy level or processing time is promised.
SheetSnapshot does not give accounting, tax, legal, investment, or other professional advice. Use qualified judgment for consequential decisions and keep original records where needed. Human review is especially important for amounts that will be paid, reported, or filed with an authority.
07Plans, credits, and pricing
The proposed Pro allowance is 300 pages per month and Business is 1,500 pages per month. One page or image equals one credit. Those are proposed plan descriptions, not evidence that a purchasable subscription is operating today. Roadmap features are not included merely because they appear elsewhere on the site.
Before charges are enabled, checkout must state the final price, currency, applicable taxes, billing frequency, included allowance, credit-reset rules, failed-job charging rules, and any extra charges. Credit rollover, overage billing, and plan-change adjustments are not promised by this draft. Material commercial details must be available before purchase.
08Renewal, cancellation, and refunds
A future recurring plan may renew only according to the recurring terms clearly accepted at checkout. The customer must have an effective cancellation method before any renewal charge is taken. Cancellation should stop later renewals while access continues through the paid period, unless a refund or required remedy changes that period.
The Refund Policy explains the proposed 14-day initial-purchase window and usage threshold. It also preserves statutory remedies. A success URL is not a receipt, payment verification, consent to immediate performance, or confirmation of an activated subscription. Keep the payment processor’s transaction record if payments are later enabled.
09Acceptable use
Use the website and any future extraction service lawfully and within the documented limits. The following restrictions protect other users, the service, and source-document rights. They do not prohibit activities that applicable law expressly permits.
- Do not submit stolen documents, prohibited content, malware, or information you are not authorized to process.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, expose another user’s records, or use deceptive identities.
- Do not disrupt the service, overload its systems, or evade documented rate and file limits.
- Do not remove attribution from supplied stock media or represent sample testimonials as verified endorsements.
- Do not use extracted values to facilitate fraud or falsify financial records.
10Software, exports, and third-party content
SheetSnapshot branding, authored interface elements, and documentation remain subject to their respective intellectual-property rights. Open-source software and licensed photographs remain subject to their own license terms. These terms do not grant a right to another provider’s trademarks or a right to resell stock photographs as standalone assets.
Your own data remains yours. An exported file may be used in your workflow, but responsibility for later storage and sharing rests with you. Spreadsheet software, social websites, hosted access providers, and payment processors operate under their own conditions; links to them do not establish an endorsement or partnership.
11Availability and changes
The sample is provided for exploration and may change as the product develops. No uptime commitment, dedicated support response time, or production release date has been agreed. Do not rely on roadmap labels as a delivery commitment.
Before materially changing a paid service, the operator must communicate the change and provide any options or remedies required by law or the accepted contract. Maintenance and security responses may temporarily affect access. Customers should retain necessary original documents and exported records independently.
12Suspension, termination, and data
A future account may need to be restricted for a substantiated breach, security threat, legal requirement, or unpaid charge. Restrictions should be proportionate, and notice or an opportunity to remedy should be given where appropriate and lawful. This draft does not create an operational account-suspension system.
Termination does not remove statutory rights, amounts properly due, or responsibilities for past misuse. Before production, the operator must explain export access, source deletion, account closure, and any limited record retention. Local downloads remain on your device even if access to the website ends.
13Consumer rights, warranties, and liability
Mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies continue to apply. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or any matter that cannot lawfully be limited. Any future limitations must be proportionate to the final service and permitted in the customer’s jurisdiction.
This demo does not promise that an extraction will be accurate, available, or suitable for a particular regulated purpose. Commercial warranty exclusions and liability caps for a paid service have not been finalized. The operator must review them once its identity, target markets, and actual product are confirmed.
14Digital-service withdrawal and disputes
Consumers in some jurisdictions may have a cancellation or withdrawal right. Starting early performance requires any express request and acknowledgment required by law. Visiting a page, selecting a training toggle, or generating a sample download is not a blanket waiver of statutory rights. The refund page explains the distinction between optional commercial refunds and mandatory remedies.
No foreign governing law, arbitration clause, or court location has been copied from the reference website. Governing-law and dispute provisions must be finalized for SheetSnapshot’s actual operator while preserving mandatory local consumer protections. A monitored support route must first be available to resolve an issue.
15Updates and contact
The date on this page records the latest revision. Before production, material terms and the operator’s contact details must be made available at signup or checkout, with explicit agreement when required. A future change should not silently rewrite the terms of an earlier purchase.
The Contact page currently discloses an unconfigured endpoint and placeholder support email. Do not send confidential documents or card numbers to an unconfirmed address. Confirmed operator and support information will be published before paid services begin.
