Operator details, monitored contacts, and production arrangements still require confirmation. The clauses below distinguish the current browser sample from proposed paid services.
Cookies, local storage, external services, and practical ways to manage information on your device.
01What this policy covers
This page explains browser storage used by the SheetSnapshot frontend and distinguishes it from possible storage at the hosting access layer. Cookies are small values associated with a website. Local storage is a browser mechanism for retaining values between visits. Page memory holds information only while the current page state exists.
These mechanisms have different lifetimes and purposes. A value stored on your device is not automatically an uploaded document or a server-side account. The current product has no configured analytics or advertising scripts, and no product account session is created by the sample login form.
02The current storage inventory
The theme preference is the only persistent preference configured by this frontend. It remembers a light, dark, or system display choice through next-themes. No expiry is configured for that local-storage key. It remains until changed or removed by your browser.
The selected image preview, edited example values, sample conversion history, export status, and form state are held in page memory. They reset when you refresh or close the page. Sample downloads become files on your device, and are not browser cookies. The inventory below records the implemented items rather than imagined tracking categories.
| Item | Technology / purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
theme | Local storage; selected display mode | Until changed or site data is cleared |
| Preview, edits, sample history | Tab memory; sample workflow | Reset on refresh or page closure |
| Downloaded spreadsheets | Device files; requested sample export | Controlled by the device owner |
| Hosting access storage | Separate hosting layer; exact items unconfirmed | Requires provider verification |
03Essential and preference storage
Hosting-level authentication or access checks may require session storage or cookies independently of the application code. Exact names, lifetimes, recipients, and purposes have not yet been confirmed. The operator must inventory those items before claiming a complete production cookie register.
The theme preference supports your selected display setting. It is not used here for advertising or cross-site tracking. Rules about consent or exemptions vary by purpose and jurisdiction; the operator must apply the relevant requirements to the complete hosting and frontend inventory before public launch.
04Analytics and advertising
This frontend does not configure analytics pixels, audience profiling, advertising cookies, or embedded social tracking widgets. Its animated metrics use authored sample records rather than visitor measurement. Pexels photographs are local site assets, not remotely embedded media players.
If measurement or advertising tools are introduced, their provider, purpose, storage names, duration, and data recipients must be documented before use. Any legally required consent must be obtained before the relevant non-essential storage or tracking starts, with an accessible way to refuse or later change the choice. No unimplemented consent banner is presented as protection.
05External resources and links
Licensed Inter and JetBrains Mono font files are served from the same website origin. Loading these fonts does not contact Google Fonts or place third-party font cookies. Photographer-credit links and social buttons open external destinations whose own notices apply.
Future Stripe Payment Links would open hosted checkout on an external service. Storage used by that checkout is separate from the SheetSnapshot frontend inventory. This policy does not promise to control another provider’s cookies or replace its privacy information. Avoid entering credentials or payment information into an unverified external destination.
06Changing or clearing stored values
Use the display control to choose a different theme. To remove the stored preference entirely, use your browser’s settings for this site and clear local storage or site data. Browser menus and labels differ; look for privacy, cookies, or site permissions and select the SheetSnapshot domain.
Blocking local storage may prevent the chosen theme from persisting. Clearing hosting-session data may sign you out of the hosting access layer. Refreshing resets sample edits, so export values you need first. Removing browser storage does not delete spreadsheets already downloaded to your device or records held by an external provider.
08Updates and questions
The policy date changes when this page is revised. New storage purposes need updated information and any required choice controls before activation. A change to the notice is not a substitute for consent when consent is required.
Read the Privacy Policy for broader handling and the Security page for current technical boundaries. SheetSnapshot’s monitored contact is not yet confirmed; the Contact page discloses that limitation. Do not send personal documents to its placeholder email. The operator must publish verified contact details before production data collection.
