A useful spreadsheet starts
with a good source.

JPEG compression makes photos convenient to share, but can soften tiny digits. Start with the original JPG, keep the table in frame, and use a review step to catch ambiguous numbers.

For example: a photographed supplier price list with product codes, quantities, and unit prices.

Get a cleaner result

Use the highest available resolution.

Avoid repeatedly saving a JPEG: compression can blur punctuation.

Keep leading zeros in product codes and account numbers.
